What to expect from this 14 day Zambia Migration Safari:

Experience the best of Zambia during this exciting and memorable Zambia safari. Discover the bustling city of Livingstone, the majesty of the legendary Victoria Falls, the lush diversity of the Kafue National Park, the remoteness of the Liuwa Plains, and the beauty of the Sioma Falls.

Day 1: Livingstone, Zambia

You start your Zambia safari in the town of Livingstone in Zambia. Here you will enjoy accommodation in a lodge with breakfast, lunch and dinner on your own expense. Spend the day settling in and relaxing before tucking in for the rest of the night.

Zambia:

Zambia is home to the legendary African safari, the spectacular Victoria Falls, the tempestuous Zambezi River, diverse wildlife and bird life, and rich and lush wilderness. Zambia is known as one of the safest countries in the world to visit, based on the peaceful ways of the Zambian people who live in harmony. Boasting 17 waterfalls, a Zambian holiday is one filled with beauty, excitement and adventure.

Here guests will be able to enjoy white river rafting in the raging rapids of the great Zambezi River, bungi jumping into the deep gorge below Victoria Falls, abseiling, canoeing safaris down the Zambezi River, river surfing, Tiger fishing and spectacular African sunsets.

Days 2 - 4: Kafue National Park, Zambia

Today you travel from Livingstone to the world renowned Kafue National Park, Zambia's largest and oldest national park. Here you will enjoy a tented camp experience while participating in excellent game drives through this diverse region. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included.

The Kafue National Park:

Zambia's oldest and largest national park, Kafue is spread over 22 400 square kilometres and is the second largest national park in the world. This raw and diverse park offers an authentic African wilderness experience with excellent game viewing, bird watching and fishing opportunities.

Game found in this park include Red Lechwe, Puku, Sable and Roan antelope, Oribi, Duiker, Waterbuck, Tsessebe, Hartebeest, Zebra and Buffalo.

Days 5 - 8: Liuwa Plains, Zambia

Today the Zambia safari journeys to the remote Liuwa Plains to a tented camp where you spend the next few nights. Enjoy fantastic game drives through the area before returning to camp for a mouth watering dinner. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included.

Liuwa Plains:

Liuwa Plains is a remote park situated in the far west and is ideal for the ardent bush lover. Game is sparsely scattered across the plains. Although one has to drive for quite some time before encountering game, the result is rewarding. The bird life is prolific and the beauty and dramatism of the landscape makes for some spectacular photographic opportunities.

Day 9: Barotse Flood Plains, Zambia

Today you travel to the Barotse Flood Plains where you spend the night in a tented camp with breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Days 10 - 12: Sioma Falls, Zambia

Your Zambia safari continues with a journey to the beautiful Sioma Falls. Spend your days fishing and enjoy memorable visits to the Victoria Falls before retreating to your comfortable lodge for the night. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included.

Victoria Falls:

'Mosi-oa-Tunya', 'The Smoke that Thunders', ' the greatest known curtain of falling water'. These are all names given to the most spectacular waterfall in the world, the majestic Victoria Falls. Seeing the beauty and grandeur of the Victoria Falls is definitely an unforgettable experience.

Falling nearly 100 metres into a deep gorge are 546 million cubic metres of water per minute, over a width of nearly 2 kilometres. Plumes of spray from all sides thunder all around, creating a dramatic and awe inspiring experience.

Ngonye Falls/Sioma Falls:

Ngonya Falls is situated in the west near the village of Sioma on the Zambezi River. Although not very high, the volume of water cascading down over the rocks is second only to the Victoria Falls.

Also known as Sioma Falls, its an incredible feeling to stand on the rocks, feeling the plumes of spray and hearing the roar of the thundering water crashing down.

Day 13: Zimbelozi, Zambia

On day 13 you travel to Zimbelozi where you spend the night in a charming lodge with breakfast and lunch included.

Day 14: Livingstone, Zambia

Today you enjoy a visit to the Falls and a memorable sunset cruise before returning to your lodge for the night. Breakfast and lunch is included.

Day 15: Depart

Today is the final day of your tour. Bid farewell to the spell binding country of Zambia as you make your way back home.
